LESLIE TANNER- Vocalist and Public Relations
She began her career as a classical instrumentalist playing more than six instruments. As
a native of Atlanta she attended Clark Atlanta University where she received her Bachelor
of Arts degree in Music Education. While at college on an instrumental scholarship, her
vocal abilities were noticed by many on campus and Leslie was asked to sing with The
Morehouse Jazz Orchestra. It was at this time that she caught the “singing bug”
and has been singing ever since. Versatility is her forte. Her powerful vocals and four
octave range have wowed people from all around. Leslie is a three-time 1st place winner of
Amateur Night at the World Famous Apollo Theatre. Leslie has opened for recording artists
such as Jeffrey Osborne, Angela Bofill, Roy Ayers and many more. You can also hear Ms.
Tanner on recordings and background vocals with Miles Jaye, Kim Waters, Lonnie Liston
Smith, Maysa and more. When not performing with the Infinity Show Band, you can find
Leslie singing with the Americolor Opera Alliance or singing in her church choir.
