Richard Horton, Musical Director, Guitarist and Vocalist
Music has always been a driving force in Richards life. His love of performance
began in the fourth grade when he wanted to play drums in the school band, but ended up
playing clarinet. He got his first guitar at age six when The Beatles became famous. As a
self taught guitarist he led his own band for the next six years. While a clarinet major
at Fisk University, Richard performed throughout the Southeast on guitar with his band,
Projections, and was a well-known guitarist in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating from
Fish University Richard toured and recorded with major recording artist, Peabo Bryson for
eight years. He also performed with The Jones Girls, Natalie Cole and Roberta Flack where
he performed on two gold albums. He was signed as recording artist on Artista Records and
performed on the Wolf Man Jack show. Today, Richard is proud to be a member of the
Infinity Show Band. He prides himself on being able to perform many different genres-
rock, country, jazz, rhythm and blues, neo-soul, gospel and hip-hop. Music is truly the
fuel that keeps his fire burning.
